Highlights & Colour

We use exclusively Schwarzkopf Professional for our colour and highlights.  Ed is our Schwarzkopf Colour Master and all our colourists are highly trained to at least NVQ standards.  Unlike most salons, we are pleased to bring to you the full range from Schwarzkopf Professional offering you over 120 shades to choose from.  These include:

• non-permanent and permanent colours
• guaranteed coverage
• ammonia and ammonia-free
• direct dyes for intense colour
• specialist hi-lift colours – no bleach required
• silver / grey enhancing

At Eds we care about your hair and recommend using FibrePlex ™️during any colour or highlighting service to protect your hair during the development process thus avoiding unwanted hair breakage.

We also offer Schwarzkopf’s premium BlondMe service powered by the Advance Bonding System, offering a unique colour range that can be tailored to any individual wishes and hair type.  Blonde hair has the most delicate hair structure, yet despite this, colourists have to guarantee perfect hair quality and spectacular colour results.

Please note that a skin allergy test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment if this is your first time using colouring products at Eds.  For complex colour, colour correction and balayage highlights a consultation is generally required before booking an appointment.  Alternatively, we also accept the Colour Passport system

We will also recommend and advise you on Schwarzkopf Professional homecare to maintain and prolong your colour and styling products to reproduce your style at home.  Using the wrong products can result in colour fade and poor hair condition.

Technical Service:

Additional charges may apply for long or thick hair. Colour services exclude FibrePlex and finishing/styling services. Highlights, balayage and colour removal services exclude K18 and finishing/styling services.

Our pricing reflects the experience, training and educational level of each stylist. We operate a fair usage policy on all technical services using the Vish system to accurately measure any additional professional product required for your hair.

A skin test is required at least 48 hours before all colour and highlighting services and must be renewed annually. We also offer the Colour Passport scheme. Customer consultations and Colour Passports are both charged at £15.

During your visit, your stylist will recommend the most suitable professional haircare products and treatments to help maintain the health, condition and longevity of your hair and salon service at home.

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or amendments.
